Lots of naps, banana pancakes, chasing a giggling, naked baby through the house and dancing to yo gabba gabba. Oh Sunday I wish you were every day of the week.

hello summer, we welcome you with open arms and the biggest smile.  I am looking forward to showing M all the good things about you. Now we are just waiting on the lightening bugs to come out.

M is 1!

We celebrated M's first birthday on Sunday at my mom's house. I am still in disbelief that my little peanut is one years old. How did that happen? It is bittersweet. I love watching him grow, seeing his interest in everything around him, getting to know his sweet, laid back personality and showing him everything this world has to offer. But I won't lie when I say there is a small ache in my heart to have that little squiggly newborn back, if only to hold him for a minute and hear those sweet coos he used to make. Bittersweet I tell you.
